POINT Informationsverarbeitung und Consulting GmbH & Co.KG was founded in Achern in 1992.
During Point’s first year’s ambitious individual projects were realized for the most different clients. The number of users in the customer projects ranged from 3 to 60 working places. These projects were based on UNIX-solutions with the database INFORMIX.
Point provides its clients ERP-solutions on the basis MS SQL from Microsoft since 1995.
After years of growth and a multitude of successful customer projects Point moved to Rastatt, nearby Karlsruhe.
Point’s rapid development is especially reflected in the international customer projects. Nowadays, Point can refer to pan-European installations:
The Netherlands, Finland, Lithuania, Sweden and Denmark.
To meet the demands of its clients, Point developed step by step industry-oriented ERP-solutions basing on a powerful solution orientation.
Point is very flexible in terms of outlining the company’s structure of its clients in the EDP.
With the help of own tools Point does also connect software-systems of other providers:
- SAP, MS Dynamics AX and different financial accounting solutions
